Job Purpose
Develop opportunities in assigned territories by engaging hospitals and end-users, working with dealers, tracking pipeline, gathering market intelligence, and coordinating internal support to advance projects.Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Opportunity Follow-up- Identify opportunities in assigned territories and accounts.
- Understand customer needs, local suppliers, procurement practices, and purchasing processes.
- Follow up with customers and coordinate the support needed to advance opportunities.
- Work with dealers’ sales teams daily to track opportunities, project progress, feedback, and next steps.
- Support customer visits, product discussions, demonstrations, and quotation-related coordination.
- Keep pipeline data current in SFDC; flag delays, channel concerns, and support needs to the Business Development Lead and SMM.
- Track OR1 projects from an early stage with the Business Development Lead, VAS Manager, and dealers.
- Monitor milestones and coordinate support from dealers and internal teams.
- Follow up on annual focused product plans and dealer activities with Product Marketing.
- Visit hospitals with dealers and engage end-users, decision-makers, and key influencers.
- Build relationships and understand purchasing behaviour and barriers to product adoption.
- Share customer feedback with relevant internal teams.
- Maintain accurate account and opportunity records in SFDC for reporting and forecasting.
- Gather insights on treatment trends, customer preferences, and competitor pricing, positioning, and promotions.
- Contribute to territory plans and the installed base database.
- Work with Product, Marketing, Service, RA/QA, and Finance to address customer needs and move opportunities forward.
- Share timely field information so teams can provide suitable product, technical, service, regulatory, or commercial support.
- Perform other BD and field coordination tasks as assigned by BDL or management.
Requirements
Education- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field
- + 2–3 years in business development, capital sales, or customer-facing roles in medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related fields.
- Dealer coordination, hospital accounts, and pipeline tracking preferred; SFDC experience is a plus.
- Customer engagement, needs assessment, and product presentation.
