Job Description

Key Responsibilities 

    • Define and implement operational and tactical sales plans to ensure sustainable business growth in Vietnam.
    • Identify, approach, and develop new pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution clients.
    • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers, supporting ongoing projects and pushing for commercialization.
    • Serve as the primary contact for company’s Vietnam Representative Office, working closely with the Regional Coordinator (APAC) and Global Sales Director.
    • Lead new project initiation and maintain timely updates on project progress and customer feedback.
    • Develop and manage strategic account plans, identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
    • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
    • Coordinate with Sourcing, Regulatory, and R&D teams to meet customer requirements, support product registration, and manage technical documentation.
    • Drive market entry and product launch activities for new APIs and formulation technologies.
    • Maintain and update Microsoft Dynamics 365 for accurate pipeline and sales performance tracking.
    • Support logistics coordination to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
    • Prepare sales forecasts, quarterly performance reports, and project tracking summaries.
    • Gradually assume leadership of local market operations, with potential to build and mentor a Vietnam-based sales team in the future.

Key Requirements 

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field.
    • Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in API or pharmaceutical ingredients business.
    • Industry Background: Experience with pharma manufacturers, distributors, or trading companies (local or MNC).
    • Technical Knowledge: Moderate understanding of API / formulation business; awareness of DAV and import requirements is an advantage.
    • Language: Fluent in Vietnamese and English (written and spoken).
    • Network: Strong existing relationships with local pharma manufacturers and distributors in Vietnam.
    • Tools: Proficient in CRM / project management systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).
