Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Department Leadership & Operations
- Organize and oversee all accounting and finance operations in compliance with legal regulations and internal company strategy.
- Establish and maintain accounting systems, internal controls, and reporting structures tailored to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Financial Reporting & Tax Compliance
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).
- Supervise tax declarations and ensure full compliance with all government tax regulations while optimizing tax efficiency.
- Budget Control & Financial Analysis
- Collaborate with departments to develop annual budgets, monitor implementation, and analyze variances.
- Provide financial insights on cost, revenue, profitability, and business performance.
- External Audit & Regulatory Liaison
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies (e.g., tax authorities, financial inspectors) during audits and inspections.
- Team Development
- Build and lead a professional accounting team through training, coaching, and performance management.
Key RequirementsÂ
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Life Sciences.
- At least 10 years of experience in accounting, including a minimum of 5 years in a similar role within a Vietnamese pharmaceutical company.
- Strong knowledge of VAS, tax regulations, and financial operations specific to the pharma sector.
- Strategic mindset, proven leadership, and strong internal control capabilities.
- High integrity, excellent communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficient in accounting software; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
