Key Responsibilities 

• Department Leadership & Operations
  • Organize and oversee all accounting and finance operations in compliance with legal regulations and internal company strategy.
  • Establish and maintain accounting systems, internal controls, and reporting structures tailored to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Financial Reporting & Tax Compliance
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).
  • Supervise tax declarations and ensure full compliance with all government tax regulations while optimizing tax efficiency.
• Budget Control & Financial Analysis
  • Collaborate with departments to develop annual budgets, monitor implementation, and analyze variances.
  • Provide financial insights on cost, revenue, profitability, and business performance.
• External Audit & Regulatory Liaison
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies (e.g., tax authorities, financial inspectors) during audits and inspections.
  • Team Development
  • Build and lead a professional accounting team through training, coaching, and performance management.

Key Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Life Sciences.
• At least 10 years of experience in accounting, including a minimum of 5 years in a similar role within a Vietnamese pharmaceutical company.
• Strong knowledge of VAS, tax regulations, and financial operations specific to the pharma sector.
• Strategic mindset, proven leadership, and strong internal control capabilities.
• High integrity, excellent communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficient in accounting software; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
