Job Description
Role Objective
Serve as the primary medical point of contact for the rare disease area (NF1) in Vietnam, responsible for executing the Medical Affairs strategy, building expert partnerships, and supporting improved patient access to treatment.Main Accountabilities
1. Medical & Strategic Activities (≈50% office)
- Execute national Medical Affairs activities.
- Provide medical expertise for publications, abstracts, registries, and studies (mainly non-interventional).
- Support cross-functional commercial and Market Access initiatives.
- Identify gaps in the patient care pathway to improve the Standard of Care.
- Co-develop reimbursement and HEOR activities.
2. Field Activities (≈50% field)
- Build and maintain relationships with KOLs/HCPs and Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs).
- Partner on patient identification initiatives adaptable to the local market.
- Increase awareness and profile of NF1 in the market.
3. Medical Value & Market Access
- Provide balanced scientific information to payers and key stakeholders.
- Support technical discussions on access and value propositions.
- Generate field insights to inform access strategy and business planning.
4. Brand Strategy & Research Support
- Provide medical insights on the local landscape and monitor competitors.
- Support pre-launch activities for new products/indications.
- Participate in local clinical research when required.
Requirements
- MD, PharmD, or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Strong understanding of complex healthcare ecosystems.
- Proven stakeholder and KOL engagement capability.
- Excellent scientific communication, presentation, and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience in managed care/payer environment or Health Economics is a plus.
- Strong scientific English reading capability.
